Dennis Bacopulos
Dennis is a senior level executive with over two decades of leadership and management building industry experience, including Del Webb Corporation’s operations in California, Nevada and Arizona. Dennis was responsible for the financial performance and profitability of large-scale Master Planned Communities and residential neighborhoods. His background encompasses all facets of acquisition, planning, development, building and marketing activities.
Dennis joined Martin & Associates, LLC in 2003 to focus on the planning and development of Master Planned Communities throughout the nation. In addition, Dennis serves as Operating Manager and Joint Venture Partner in the planning and entitlement processing of several Active Adult Communities in California encompassing a portfolio of over 4,000 acres of mixed use residential and commercial property.
In his role as Vice President for Del Webb’s Arizona and Nevada operations, Dennis guided the creation of the Anthem multi-generational brand and was one of three executives responsible for the planning, development, scope of amenities, and marketing vision for Del Webb's 5,000 acre, 10,000 home Master Plan Community in Henderson, Nevada. Dennis also held a significant leadership role on the four member executive committee responsible for the planning, development, scope of amenities, product development and marketing of the 4,900 acre, 11,000 home Anthem Master Planned Community in Arizona. Dennis’ operations in Arizona and Nevada generated over 1,750 sales annually for the Del Webb Corporation.
As Vice President, Planning and Development at Del Webb Corporation in Phoenix, Arizona, Dennis played a key role in the transition of Del Webb's centralized acquisition activities to a regional operational level. Dennis was responsible for identification, negotiation and acquisition of land parcels required for implementation of Del Webb's strategic growth plan for active adult communities in Southern and Northern California. Dennis also pursued land acquisition opportunities for new AARC business models that included 500 to 1,000 unit non-golf community plans and vertical high density metropolitan infill configurations.
Dennis experience also includes responsibility for Del Webb and California Communities Inc. conventional homebuilding operations in Southern California, building over 3,000 homes in Orange, Riverside, Los Angeles and San Diego Counties. Dennis also formed Renaissance LLC at Oak Valley Greens in Beaumont, planning and entitling one of California’s first live- in-place Active Adult Communities.
